Bipartisan Senate Coalition Calls on USTR to Preserve USMCA

A bipartisan group of more than 40 US senators sent a letter last week to US Trade Representative Jamieson Greer, calling for the preservation of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA). The letter highlights the significant growth in U.S. agricultural exports to Canada and Mexico since the agreement entered into force — a critical concern for the leather and hide industry, which depends on open, stable trading relationships with its closest neighbors.
