Analytics and Research

The LHCA covers a broad spectrum of areas deemed to be of value to our members and the industry in its entirety. This ranges from sector analysis and ongoing tracking to provision of insight into consumer trends in the US and around the globe. Our investment in the latest data is of significant benefit both for our policy work and for members managing their day to day business and their long-term strategic planning.

We support this with laboratory-based research operated in partnership with the Leather Research Laboratory based in Cincinnati. Together they enable us to support the industry as a whole and to provide services to our members ranging from performance analysis to the testing and identification of hide and leather defects.
